Whole-home interior repaint
Walls, ceilings, trim and doors with the same crew from start to finish, on a fixed price agreed before we begin.
Interior, exterior and cabinet painting across Gloucester and east Ottawa.
Ottawa House & Cabinet Painting covers Gloucester and the surrounding east and south-east communities — Blossom Park, Hunt Club, Findlay Creek, Beacon Hill, Blackburn Hamlet, Carson Grove and Pineview. Interior and exterior painting, kitchen cabinet refinishing, ceiling texture removal and drywall repair, on a fixed written quote.
Gloucester covers a wide span of Ottawa’s housing history, from 1960s and 1970s bungalows in Beacon Hill and Blackburn Hamlet through 1990s subdivisions in Hunt Club to brand-new streets in Findlay Creek. Because of that range there is no single Gloucester painting job — an older home usually needs ceiling texture removed and oil trim converted, while a newer one needs two proper coats over builder flat and its first round of settlement repairs. We quote each on what is actually in front of us.
1960s–1980s bungalows and splits through Beacon Hill, Blackburn Hamlet and Pineview; 1990s–2000s subdivision housing through Hunt Club and Blossom Park; 2010–2025 new builds through Findlay Creek.
Every community in Ottawa has its own housing stock and its own recurring problems. These are the ones we see most in Gloucester.

Standard work in the older Beacon Hill and Blackburn Hamlet housing stock: scrape, skim smooth, prime and paint, with asbestos testing on any pre-1980 texture before we disturb it.
Two coats of washable eggshell over the builder’s single flat coat, plus repairs to the nail pops and seam cracks that surface in a new home’s first couple of winters.
Doors sprayed off-site to a factory-smooth finish and reinstalled, boxes finished in place — a week rather than a kitchen renovation.

Yes, and we work within condo corporation rules on elevator booking, work hours and insurance certificates. Tell us your building at the estimate and we will handle the paperwork side with property management.
Interior work usually books two to four weeks out, and longer through the autumn stretch from September to November when demand peaks. Exterior work should be booked well in advance of the April-to-October season. Small jobs can often be fitted in sooner.
Workmanship — peeling, blistering, flashing or coating failure on surfaces we prepared and painted. If something we did fails within two years we come back and correct it at no cost. It does not cover new damage, impact marks or issues stemming from an underlying building problem such as an active leak.
